Our school is about two miles from the centre of Macclesfield on Whirley Road, which is off the A537 at Broken Cross.

Directions from Macclesfield: Leave Macclesfield heading on the A537 towards Knutsford. After several roundabouts you will pass the ‘Cross Potato’ on your left, opposite a Shell petrol station on your right. At the next roundabout (with the Tesco Express) continue on the A537 towards Knutsford then take the first right about 100 yards past it, this is Whirley Road.

Directions from the M6: From Junction 18 follow signs for Holmes Chapel. In Holmes Chapel turn right then immediate left at the two mini-roundabouts heading taking the A535 towards Alderley Edge. This road passes Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope on your left. At the Chelford roundabout (the first one you meet) turn right on the A537 towards Macclesfield. Cross the A34 at Monks Heath and carry on. As you approach Broken Cross, you pass the Cock Inn on your right. You need the next left that is Whirley Road - take care, the road goes back on itself and if you are driving anything with a limited turning circle it may be better to carry on and go round the roundabout 100 yards further on, coming back the way you came to get along Whirley Road. If you reach a roundabout on the A537 you have missed Whirley Road and should do a ‘U’ turn at this roundabout (Tesco Express on the side of it) and go back along the A537 taking the first right, this is Whirley Road.
